Dakar Forum on Peace & Security

This event was initiated during the Elysée Summit in December 2013. The only one of its kind in Africa, this meeting now forms part of the international agenda on strategic and defence-related matters. It is a forum for developing exchanges and expanding the strategic dialogue between Africans and their international partners.  It brings together political decision-makers at the highest level, civil & military experts, company managers, representatives of large international and regional organisations, and members of civil society to work to strengthen security and stability in Africa.
